I got sick of trying to administer and customize my own blog. It was a bit of a learning experience but ultimately all the friction of the setup and figuring out tags and pushing to git and everything else just made it too much of a pain the ass and I wasn't encouraged to keep trying. Maybe if I were a web developer (or hell, even a software developer). But my interests lie in hardware and embedded systems and all the high level web stuff just ends up being too much of a pain. I'd rather be off taking pictures or something else that's fun.
